Beautiful, peaceful location. Hosts treated you like family. Awesome dog. Best nights sleep I've had in a long long time. The people are kind and hard working. The place is as loving as it is beautiful. If I could I would give all the night stars to rate this amazing place!! We stayed here on our honeymoon and they had the most friendly service any business can have!! Best place to get a good nights sleep!! A really nice lakefront view too!! If ur looking for a place to stay in Dillingham area, I would suggest staying at this place!! I stayed at Silver Fin for 3 nights and it was absolutely amazing! The host, Sherol, and her family make you feel right at home (or better)! She really goes out of her way to make your stay special. She can set you up with boat/plane rental and direct you depending on the intention of your trip. We visited for fishing, relaxation, scenery, and location. The location is totally off the grid but ideal for salmon fishing and various other types of fishing/hunting. The view from the cabin is amazing! It's on the Alenakgik lake that connects to Wood River and 5 other large lakes I believe. If you are a professional in Dilligham I highly recommend the 20min drive for a spectacular stay you won't forget... I didn't want to leave and plan to come back and visit all the way from Atlanta, Georgia! What an amazing stay!! I'm looking forward to next year!!!
